In order to ensure the safety of our visitors and museum staff, the Monhegan Museum of Art & History is acting in compliance with the State of Maine's COVID-19 Prevention Guidance for Museums.
To maintain appropriate social distancing, only five people will be permitted in the gallery at one time. We encourage visitors to use our touchless timed ticketing system (below). Admission cannot be guaranteed if you do not reserve a ticket or arrive at the time stated on your ticket.
Face coverings are required inside the gallery.
As additional precautions we ask that you not visit the museum if you are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, that you keep a 6 foot distance from individuals not in your party, and that you follow the prescribed route through the gallery as marked on the floor.
If you are at higher risk for severe illness and would like to schedule a private visit please contact us at: email@example.com or 207.596.7003. We will do our best to accommodate you.
The State of Maine recommends collecting name and contact information of each visitor. In the event the museum is made aware of an employee or visitor who has contracted COVID-19, we will inform any visitors that may have come in contact with this person(s).
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and we hope you enjoy the exhibition!
